The village in Sweden boasting the greatest number of hotels: eight in all. At the top lies the Holen Folk Museum, which earlier was the home of Gustaf Ankarcrona. There are many craftsmen, woodcraft shops, pottery workshops and galleries etc. to be seen. There are also two nature reserves: Nybodalen and Digerberget.
